Hi Sue, I've just switched off the gateway and done a test login as you on Firefox and it worked. Fingers crossed it will now at your end. Please let me know if there's any issues!

Thanks

Hi Sue,

Sorry about that. You are absolutely right - there's something I forgot to do, the gateway function from the original workshop is still on. I will switch it off now and that should do the trick. Can you try again in a couple of minutes and let me know you have access ok?

Thanks

Hi Rachel,

I just bought the great garden design workshop yesterday - and I can't seem to get beyond the welcome page, as it won't load when I click on the image. I can access all the other material I've purchased before, but no luck with this.
I've tried 2 different browsers, and have ensured I didn't have any other windows open...so I suspect it may be a permissions thing from your end. Would you mind checking please, as I'd love to be able to see this content! I have a barren yard that I hope to get working on so I can enjoy it this summer - thanks for providing not only the great inspiration, but also the techniques required in order to get there!
cheers,

Hi Gail,

Thanks for your feedback so far, glad you're liking the course :)

I was asked many years ago to do some teaching, though that was classroom based. I liked the idea a lot but as I travel so much it makes it really hard to consistently be somewhere with good internet access - which is why I set things up like this. I will be doing some free weekend workshops online but not full courses.

This is partly Dale's Learning Theory and a lot of other influences. I try to follow the model of 'educate' in its original meaning - 'to draw out' so I base examples of the core concepts on things people already know about. That way it makes the learning process as effortless as possible.

Know you want feedback, but am still getting to the course. Yes, I'll keep this version; it looks clever.
Have you ever thought of taking up computer based teaching/promotion? YOur combination of emails, different formats, and time of blogs, ads, steps, etc. is so well done.

So is this Dale's Learning Theory. I'll read some more about. Do know it's basis of learn by doing, which is true in garden design! ;-)

Hi Bronwyn,

If you tap your ipad screen over the link it will open the document directly on the screen. If you want the document to open up in a new tab, so you can read it later, then the iPad equivalent of a right click is to hold your finger on an item you want to right click for a few seconds options available will pop up. You only need to use the right click option on a PC.

Best wishes
