Most frequently asked questions:

  • How Do I Access The Bonus Videos? – The bonus videos are released approximately every 2 days, so if the system blocks your access, try again in a day or so.
  • I Can’t Login! Why? – Check you don’t have another browser open. The system will only let one browser at a time view content, even on the same computer.
  • I’ve received an email that I’m locked out, what do I do? – This happens if you have tried to access the course material from too many different locations. If you share your login details, the system will lock down. Sometimes a lock out can be triggered if you’ve travelled to a different location eg. another country or region. If this is the case, email admin to review the lock down and re-allow access.

    I am not able to access or download any of the study guides for the courses.

      Hi,

      Oh no sorry to hear that. So you’ve logged in ok, it’s just the guides aren’t downloading? I will take a look now and see if I can see the problem.

    Hi Rachel,

    I can view the PDF files but unable to view the videos? It says private video and go to vimeo to log in but the password provided doesn’t work on this site?

      Hi Briony – just taken a look, Vimeo had changed some of their settings. It should now be working – please can you try again and you should be able to view the videos directly on the page. Let me know if there’s any further issues

    Hi Rachel, love everything so far thanks! Just watched the surveying videos and wondered whether you need special glasses to be able to see that laser beam so far down at the end of the garden? How good is the Disto and do you have to keep it level?

      Hi Lesley, really glad you are enjoying the course. The Disto is a fabulous tool and it will work to about 30m (100ft). It is hard to see the laser beam in strong sunlight but you can get special red glasses that make it easier. On really sunny days I just walk to a point in the garden where the beam will hit a point that is in shade. Sometimes though, there is no option but to put the very unflattering red specs!

      It helps to keep it level because a steep angle will make the measurement slightly longer. But don’t worry if you have to angle it a tiny bit. Hope that helps.

    I’ve just paid £12.47 online today for your Patio Course. But I noticed there is also one priced at £16.64. What is the difference between the two, and do I get an actual real book sent to me with my course or is it all online – I was hoping to get a book. What does my course include?

      Hi Alison,

      You got an extra discount on the new product offer because you were signed up to my email group, it’s the same course. The ebook is downloadable from http://www.courses.successfulgardendesign.com/welcome/patio-course/ there is no printed one as the whole course is online. There are 3 accompanying videos which can be downloaded or watched online and a picture gallery of ideas. If you use the link above you’ll see everything you get with the course listed in the left hand menu.

    I purchased the online course in 3-easy payments of $99. Will I have to wait until the 3rd payment is made before I can access the course?

      Hi Ingrid,

      You can access the course now here: http://www.courses.successfulgardendesign.com/ggfmembers/

      The only thing you won’t have full access to are the video tutorials as these are released every few days.

      I’ve just checked the system and it looks like you haven’t clicked the confirmation link in the welcome email – can you check your spam filter as you will need to click the link to receive your login details and the rest of the course emails. Please email me if you can’t find it and I will email your login details to you.
